For2008, Mercedes-Benz touched up the G500 ��" a former military vehicle ��" by updating interior pieces, including the instrument cluster. New taillights and hands-free communication features were also added. The G500's competitors include the Hummer H2 and Land Rover Range Rover. Leather upholstery is complemented by burl walnut or maple wood trim. For 2008, a new instrument cluster, steering wheel, rearview camera and telephone interface have been added. The door-handle grips are wrapped in leather.
